The internet exploded into our lives in 1995 bringing many changes over the next 5 years in our social and working environment with HMRC being no exception. Gone are the days of filing by post and being on hold for many hours on the telephone or communicating by letter.
With the introduction of Making Tax Digital for VAT (MTD) at the end of this last decade, the need for up to date accountancy software has become a must to meet the requirements of HMRC and we all anticipate the arrival of Making Tax Digital for Income Tax to be the next big change.
